Monday, July 13- How Will We Get To The Beach Activity Directions

  1. Cut the picture strip 
  2. Try to remember the story about going to the beach
  3. One of the 5 things kept Roxanne from using different ways to get to the beach 
  4. Match up each picture with the transportation that Roxanne couldn’t take and glue it into the square

Tuesday, July 14- Kite Size Sequence Directions

  1. Write your name on the back
  2. Have mom or dad mix up your kites
  3. Spread out your kite pictures so you can see them all
  4. Find the biggest one you have
  5. Glue the biggest kite first on your paper
  6. Look at the kites that you have left- now find the biggest one
  7. Glue this picture next to the kite that is already on your paper
  8. Keep doing this until you have all 5 kites glued to your paper going from biggest to smallest
  9. Color your kites 
Wednesday, July 15- I See a Fish book Directions

  1. Write your name on the name line
  2. Color each fish based on the color word that is written on the page
  3. Do this for each page of the book
  4. On the final page, you get to draw your own fish
  5. Mom or dad can write the color word on the line for you to trace 

Thursday, July 16- How Many Seeds? Directions

  1. Cut the number strip
  2. Write your name 
  3. Count the number of seeds in the first slice of watermelon
  4. Find the right number to match and glue it into the square
  5. Do all of the slices
  6. After you have glued all of the numbers in the right boxes, trace the numbers with a pencil or marker

Beach Towel Ball Toss Game

Use a large towel (or any towel you have) and a beach ball.  Try playing catch back and forth using the towel to catch the ball!
