Things to do

Ocean Animal Writing Practice

Practice writing these names for ocean creatures

wave bottle how to for kids--agirlandagluegun.com
Make a Wave Bottle:

You just need a clear bottle, white vinegar (or water), food coloring, and oil (baby, canola, or vegetable oil). Fill the bottle with 1/3 vinegar and add coloring. Then add oil. Oil sits up top and won’t mix!  You can even put sea shells, glitter,  or small items inside and watch them ride the wave!
Summer Sensory Bins

Make some summer themed sensory bins for your child to play in! Here are some ideas: water, sand (play sand or kinetic sand), aquarium rocks, water beads, cloud dough, oobleck, shaving cream, slime, pasta etc.
Add shells, plastic ocean animals, small shovels and pails, or even bowls, cups and spoons!
Toilet Paper Roll Fish Craft

Here are the instructions for this simple craft idea that you can make with things that you have around the house. This project uses paint and glitter but you can also use markers or stickers. Whatever you have will make an awesome fish!
