Monday, August 3- Where is the Shovel? Book
- Write your name on the front of your book
- Have a grown up read you the direction on each page
- When you hear the direction, put a shovel picture in the right spot and glue it down
- Color the buckets and shovels in your book.
Tuesday, August 4- Watermelon Mosaics
- Write your name on the back of the watermelon slice
- Tear your pink strips one at a time into the small pieces- I recommend putting the pieces into a small bowl to keep them together
- Put glue on a small part of the watermelon picture- put the pink pieces next to each other on the glued part. It is okay if there are small amounts of space. Continue adding glue and paper until the middle of the watermelon is covered. It is okay to cover the seeds that are on the template
- Repeat the process with the green paper and glue the pieces to the outside of the watermelon slice
- Lastly, tear the black paper and glue the pieces randomly over the pink paper to make your seeds
